We seemed to have coped very well with our change of time zones. After a good night's sleep the first night our bodies seem to have adapted to the 11 hour difference. The weather here has continued to be very warm with temperatures in the high twenties and it hasn't taken us long to acclimatise. At this stage we are very happy to be spending time with Jessica and Andrew and haven't ventured too far other than a good walk to the nearest shopping centre.
Yesterday we got out in the garden and did what we love doing - gardening. Stephen mowed the lawn and Jessica (she had taken some leave) and I got stuck into the weeds. She has a great veggie garden which is just about to start producing its summer crops.
Once Andrew returned home from his day at work, we enjoyed a barbecue tea.
